Fishing Sea

Looking at buying a new fishing boat, what is a good 16' fishing boat, the ones im currently considering are Crestliner,Smokercraft, Fisher and princecraft, any pro's cons , good luck or bad luck?
I troll a lot, mostly clam smaller waters but once a year larger sometimes rougher waters
really interested in quality of the boat and customer service of boat manufactor

not enough info to give a sensible answer. you should attend a boat show if in your area. also bass pro shops usually have a large selection of what you are seeking.

I've seen a lot of these dual-hulled inflatable pontoon boats used in America for fly fishing and i'm interested in getting one for my father's birthday.

They're also know as catarafts i think or as a variation of float tubes. They have two inflatable bladders with a seat suspended between and a bar to rest your feet on and they make great inflatable fishing boats. I can see plenty for sale in the US but none in the UK.

Are there any businesses out there shipping these to the UK?

Those who have big fishing boats in the USA, how much they pay for MGO and IFO fuel? I wonder if the USA government stimulates such high fuel prices, or have any benefits for the fishing companies. I know that governments of Iceland and England provide benefits to fishing companies that spend huge amounts of money to fuel their fishing vessels, otherwise the companies would go out of business. Is there anything like that in the USA?

I know that some fishing boats use the booms for nets, but what about the others?

The stabilizers, or "fish" as they're called, help to prevent excessive rolling of the vessel. They generate lift which increases as the vessel lists to one side then the other in a sea, flattening out the oscillation effect, making for a more comfortable voyage.

I can't get enough of watching the worlds most dangerous job:working on a deep sea fishing boat catching the AK King crab and cod. Can someone tell me how I can apply I saw that one of the skippers at the end of the voyage docked in Seattle. Email me with tips and or advice...and yes I know lots of people die in this job mostly by drowning but I still want to do it.

It doesn't work that way. You have to actually go there, a lot of boats are from the Washington and Oregon area, not Alaska like some think.
They don't hire people they don't know, most are related or are friends they've grown up with. You don't really think you'd be first in line when they're making that kind of money, dangerous or not.
I know two that have fathers on the boats, they own them and they wouldn't want to work them, it isn't worth it. They made their money and, left. Most do this, like the "ice road truckers" they make their money and leave.
My grandson went to Iraq as a civilian worker, an electrician, he makes $125,000.00 a year, this is his third year, he's quitting after this year, with bonuses he's made his first half million and is going into business for him self.
