Carbon Fiber Pole

Answers

carbon fiber vs. aluminum ski poles?

What advantages are there to carbon ski poles and are they worth the extra cost?

I stole a great pair of Carbon Fiber poles one day in Vermont. I love them.

Just kidding. After bending or breaking aluminum poles for years I picked up a pair of Goode poles a few years ago. I beat the snot out of them for years. The basket broke before the pole did...actually, the pole never broke.

I bought another pair at end of season three years ago. I still use these but now switch off between a pair of aluminum Black Diamond poles. The carbon poles, while tough as heck, don't adjust...so when I'm in the backcountry I used the BD poles. If I'm at the resort all day...I use the Goode poles.

Also...you can get a decent pair of carbon poles for $25. Just look around. They won't break your bank.

Sim.50 Taper Carbon Fiber Pole

New light weight pole from SimPole less then 8 pounds for 50 feet. Totally adjustable.

Is 18oz heavy for a d-pole (lacrosse)?

I just ordered a talon protector 60 which is a carbon fiber shaft covered in wood veneer. i am currently using a krypto pro, and i know that the talon will be heavier, but i think i should be able to use it. Was this a mistake?

It all depends on how you play defense. If you run it up field alot then a lighter pole would've been better. If you just focus on pokechecks and hard hits then you have an ok shaft.I've always liked using a lighter d-stick. You can manuever it around more easily and it is easier to get ground balls and run with the ball.

will this set up work?? and other questions?

Question 1.

Will this sound good?

Question 2.

will the 5000 watt amp install kit work with 4000 watt amp?

Question 3.

Are my tweeters hooked up to my amp or my Head Unit??

those subs r real good they hold there own for spl comp. as far as the amp you probably want to change the brand cause a long time ago when i first started to get into audio i got the riot series and they sucked. if money is a factor i would go with hifonics 2000rms @ 1 ohm on ebay for about 250. as far as the other post about RF p3 they really suck they dont even last 5 min with 1000 watts thrown at them
trust me youtube it. chek this list out:

Question 1: will this sound good?

Question 2: will my speaker wire and amp install kit work?

Question 3: can i wire those subs and box to a 1ohm load?

Questi

Sounding good? More than likely, with the bass all the sound depends on the box your putting the subs in. That box looks good. About 4.2 cu ft or so. Try getting a multi channel amp and put your speakers on an amp to help the highs and mids.

I'd go with a 1 gauge wiring kit instead of a 4 gauge kit.

The subs are dual 4 ohm which means they can be wired down to 1 - 2ohms. It's good it'll receive more power.

Will this subwoofer set up be good? ?

im going to get

Vaunted CL Central vaulters deliver at state - Northwest Herald

Sometime during their sophomore years at Crystal Lake Central, Zach Siegmeier and Mark Niemann began to see what their futures as pole vaulters could hold.

“We realized we had something going,” Siegmeier said. “We kind of wanted to have our own mini-powerhouse pole vault thing.”

Mission accomplished.

Siegmeier and Niemann combined for an extremely rare performance in the Class 2A pole vault Saturday at the IHSA Boys Track and Field State Meet at Eastern Illinois University’s O’Brien Stadium. Each of the Tigers cleared 14 feet, which likely was the first time any area team produced two 14-0 vaulters in the same state meet.

Siegmeier cleared 15-0 for second place; Niemann made 14-0 to take fifth. A week ago, Woodstock’s Elise and Kayla Beattie recorded an area first when they each ran sub-11:00 times in the Class 3A 3,200-meter run at the IHSA Girls Track and Field State Meet. No one knew of teammates from an area school accomplishing that before.
